Support for you over the bank holiday weekend


With lots of warm sunshine forecast for the bank holiday weekend, we hope you're able to get out and about to enjoy it. However, if you're in need of support, you might be wondering where you can turn to.

As always, the Online Community is open 24/7 if you would like support from other members facing cancer.

Don't worry if you've never posted before - go to our New to the site group to introduce yourself. If you need to contact us for some help, you can email us at community@macmillan.org.uk.

The Macmillan Support Line will be closed on Monday 28th May 2018. The phoneline will be open as normal on Tuesday 29th May (9am-8pm).

If you have any medical worries, you can contact:

England - NHS 111 on 111 Wales - NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47 Scotland - NHS 24 on 111 in Scotland Northern Ireland - use the GP out of hours services

For medical emergencies, ring 999.

The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day on their freephone number 116 123.

The Marie Curie support line is open Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Saturday 11am-5pm. They'll also be available on Bank Holiday Monday, 10am-4pm.

The Silver Line, a support service for older people, is available 24/7 on 0800 4 70 80 90.
